- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 4 basil leaves, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups BUITONI Refrigerated Alfredo Sauce (15 oz.)

- 1/4 cup BUITONI Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese (5 oz.)
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Method
COOK linguine according to package directions.
MELT butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and basil; cook for 1 minute.
POUR in alfredo sauce and diced tomatoes; stir until blended and combined.
ADD parmesan cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Stir to combine and simmer until pasta is cooked.
SPRINKLE with additional parmesan cheese and basil, if desired.
Cook’s Tip: If sauce gets too thick as the pasta is cooking, add 1/2 ladle of the boiling pasta water to thin it out.
